To use the tool:<\/p><ol><li>Find your baby\u2019s age at the bottom of the chart and draw a vertical line on the growth chart (from top to bottom).<\/li><li>Find your baby\u2019s weight on the right-hand side of the chart and draw a horizontal line (from left to right).<\/li><li>Find the spot where these two lines intersect or cross each other.<\/li><li>Find the curve that is closest to this spot and follow it up and to the right until you find the number that corresponds to your child&#8217;s percentile.<\/li><\/ol><p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aptafrica.com\/baby\/\">baby<\/a> on the 50<sup>th<\/sup> percentile is right in the middle of the normal range (50% of babies their age are lighter, and 50% are heavier). A baby on the 15th percentile weighs less than 85% of other babies of that age.
