La sant\u00e9 mentale des jeunes enfants correspond \u00e0 la fa\u00e7on dont un enfant se d\u00e9veloppe socialement\net \u00e9motionnellement de la naissance \u00e0 ses trois ans.<\/p>

Pendant les six premiers mois de sa vie, un b\u00e9b\u00e9 d\u00e9pend enti\u00e8rement des soins apport\u00e9s par ses\nparents\u00a0: non seulement pour ses besoins physiques, mais aussi pour la r\u00e9gulation de ses \u00e9motions et la protection contre le stress.<\/p>

Durant cette p\u00e9riode, le b\u00e9b\u00e9 ne sait m\u00eame pas qu\u2019il est un \u00eatre distinct de sa m\u00e8re. Lorsque sa m\u00e8re le regarde avec amour, il ne voit pas sa m\u00e8re. Il voit le reflet qu\u2019elle lui renvoie, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire celui d\u2019un individu digne d\u2019\u00eatre aim\u00e9. Cela permet au nourrisson de se construire en tant qu\u2019individu m\u00e9ritant d\u2019\u00eatre aim\u00e9 et de vivre de bons moments, de voir les autres comme des \u00eatres fiables et dignes de confiance, et d\u2019appr\u00e9hender le monde comme un endroit s\u00fbr o\u00f9 des exp\u00e9riences positives\nl\u2019attendent.<\/p>

Si le b\u00e9b\u00e9 est d\u00e9pendant de ses parents, il est \u00e9galement capable de s\u2019int\u00e9resser \u00e0 eux. Il va ainsi r\u00e9agir aux r\u00e9flexions et marques d\u2019enthousiasme de ses parents dans ce que l\u2019on appelle une \u00ab protoconversation \u00bb. Pensez \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re dont les m\u00e8res \u00ab parlent \u00bb \u00e0 leur b\u00e9b\u00e9. Le b\u00e9b\u00e9 regarde le visage de sa m\u00e8re, forme un O avec sa bouche et babille \u00ab oh \u00bb ou \u00ab ah \u00bb en r\u00e9ponse. Ces phases de changement et d\u2019apprentissage sont tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressantes : le cerveau se r\u00e9organise en permanence selon les exp\u00e9riences et \u00e9changes quotidiens entre le parent et l\u2019enfant.<\/p>

Les centres d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat qui sont les n\u00f4tres ces premiers mois nous d\u00e9finissent en tant qu\u2019individus. En effet, nos premiers liens s\u2019enracinent dans notre cerveau et influencent nos relations pour le restant de notre vie.<\/p>

Si tout cela peut sembler compliqu\u00e9, c\u2019est en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 tr\u00e8s simple : il suffit de revenir \u00e0 l\u2019essentiel dans notre approche \u00e9ducative.<\/p>
